Text to think about on the Account Settings Page



Setting Page Text

On the Account setting page there are a number of fields that have text you can enter that flow through to different places in the application. This document will help you understand those fields and will provide you with examples of what those fields could say. 

Basic Settings SalesDriver

  1. Tell Us More: This field populates the message in the Booking widget on the step where the customer chooses addons and extras in the box that asks for additinal trip details. 
    1. Sample Text: Tell us more about your trail so we know how to best serve you! 
  2. Sales Document Header info: This is used if you do not use a document header image to populate the top left of the sales documents.
    1. Sample Text: In this case adding your company name address, phone and email is appropriate. 
  3. Quote PDF Legal Disclaimer: This will be included at the bottom of a quote PDF
    1. Sample Text: The prices indicated in this quote are based on the information provided and do not include any applicable taxes. Changes to your itinerary information may result in a change in price. All direct travel expenses such as tolls, parking, and other fees are the responsibility of the chartering party and will be billed in addition to the quoted price. A 10% deposit will be due at the time of booking.
  4. Quote Review Message: This is the message that is displayed to your customers if their online quote request excedes your review settings. It lets them know that you have their informaiton, will review it and that someone will get back to them with a cost for their trip. 
    1. Sample Text: Your quote exceeds our instant price parameters. We have your information and a salesperson will review your travel needs and respond to you as soon as possible! We look forward to serving you! 
  5. Quote Expiration Disclaimer: This will also show at the bottom of a quote PDF and is designed to provide your companies policy on quote expiration. 
    1. Sample Text: The prices contained in this quote are valid for 30 days from the time of initial request. Quotes do not guarantee availability and are not final until booked. We are happy to provide updated prices for any expired quote although those prices may differ from the original quote.

Basic Settings OpsDriver

  1. Booking Signature Instructions: This is the language used during the Sign & Accept process in TBN on the screen where they will type their name and formally sign the booking contract. 
    1. Sample Text: By proceeding, I acknowledge that the trip price may vary due to itinerary adjustments or unforeseen operational factors. Any additional direct travel expenses will also be billed. While I understand that requested changes to my booking are subject to availability and not guaranteed, the company will make every effort to accommodate them. Completing this process signifies my acceptance of these terms and forms a legally binding agreement
  2. Financial Document Header info: This is used if you do not use a document header image to populate the top left of the Financial documents including Invoices and Statements.
    1. Sample Text: In this case adding your company name address, phone and email is appropriate
  3. Invoice Legal Disclaimer: This is displayed on the bottom of invoice documents
    1. Sample Text: Payments not made within agreed payment terms, listed at the top of this document, are subject to a 15% monthly interest penalty and will result in an operational freeze on future bookings with the company. 
  4. Customer Portal Signature Instructions: This is displayed on the customer portal after someone signs the booking contract using the sign and accept process. 
    1. Sample Text: Thank you for signing your contract we look forward to serving you. 
  5. Booking PDF Legal Disclaimer: This is the text that will display at the bottom of the Booking PDF documents
    1. Sample Text: All bookings are subject to our terms and conditions and cancelation policies. Requested changes after initial booking are subject to availability and not guaranteed. Direct travel expenses such as tolls, parking fees, ferry fees, etc., are the responsibility of the customer and will be billed after the trip. 
  6. Invoice Payment Instructions: These are instructions that will show at the bottom of the Invoice PDF. 
    1. Sample Text: Click to pay for online payments is available, if you wish to pay with a check please remit payment to our main office address above. For other payment types, please contact our office for instructions. 
  7. Driver Work Ticket Signature Instructions: We have a setting that allow you to turn on a driver work ticket signature as some companies want customers to agree to the times of the trip. 
    1. Sample Text: By signing this document you accept that the services were delivered as expected and that any changes to the planned itinerary were done at your request or based on the real-world needs on the day of the trip.
