This module explains how to assign a pre-built tour itinerary to one or more dates using the TourDriver interface. This feature helps you schedule repeat or recurring trips quickly, such as weekday or seasonal tours.
You can start assigning dates from either:
Inside a specific itinerary, or
From the TourBoard view, where you manage all itineraries under a tour group
From your chosen itinerary, click the blue “Manage Tour Date Assignment” button
You’ll be prompted with three options:
Add new assignments
Update existing assignments to match the itinerary
Delete old assignments
To create new ones, select “Add assignment”
You can assign the itinerary to:
A range of dates
Specific individual dates
For example, if this is a weekday tour:
You might choose all weekdays during November
Mark off the days you want from the calendar tool
Once selected, click Create Dispatch
Each selected day will now have a Tour Dispatch instance
These will appear in your Tour Date Report and be ready for:
Seat reservations
Vehicle/driver assignment
Sales tracking
Use the calendar selection tool for recurring weekday/monthly tours
Assign dispatches early to allow customers to book in advance
Review your itinerary before assigning to ensure the route and settings are correct
Use the TourBoard if you need to assign or update multiple itineraries in bulk
