This module outlines the key steps for configuring your TBN OpsDriver account, including general settings, driver timing configurations, invoice defaults, and email templates. It’s designed to build on your existing SalesDriver setup and prepare your account for full operational use.
Go to Company Setup
Select General Settings
Click on Account Settings
If you’ve already configured SalesDriver, this is a good time to review and confirm that the settings still reflect your current preferences.
These settings define the buffer time around a driver’s shift and influence both scheduling and payroll reporting:
Driver Start Time Adjustment:
Minutes before the yard departure when a driver is expected to begin pre-trip activities (e.g., 30 minutes typical).
Driver End Time Adjustment:
Minutes after returning to the yard when the driver completes post-trip tasks (e.g., 15 minutes typical).
These fields help ensure accurate labor time tracking and can highlight discrepancies in actual vs. expected performance.
These defaults impact how time and billing are processed:
Time Rounding Options:
Set to the nearest 5, 15, 30 minutes, or hour.
Deposit Due After Booking:
Used for retail customers; defines how many days after booking the deposit is required.
Default Payment Terms:
Choose from options like:
Prior to departure (most common)
Net 10
Upon receipt
Invoice Delivery Defaults:
Control how invoices are initially sent (email, print, etc.).
These settings apply broadly but can be customized per customer or contract.
You can personalize:
Customer and Driver Portals
Scheduler color codes (can be adjusted for accessibility, e.g., colorblind settings)
These tweaks improve user experience and interface accessibility.

Company Setup > Email Setup
Click Email Templates
You’ll find six key OpsDriver email templates:
Booking Detail
Booking Confirmation
Invoice
Affiliate Work Ticket
Payment Confirmation
Booking Cancellation
Each template:
Can be customized with your preferred language, links, and content
Is linked to specific actions/events in the system
Click Show Email to preview and Edit to modify content.
