This module explains how to add and manage commissions for contacts directly on a quote in OpsDriver. Commissions set at the quote level automatically carry over into the booking, ensuring accuracy and eliminating duplicate entry.
Use this feature to:
Record and assign commission amounts tied to quotes
Track which contacts helped generate a sale
Ensure transparency and compensation accuracy across your sales or affiliate channels
Open an existing quote.
Scroll down to find the Commission Section.
Click Add Commission.
Select a contact from your organization’s contact list.
Enter the commission amount:
Currently supports flat-rate commission entries (e.g., $100).
Click Save.
The commission will now be associated with this quote and appear in the quote details.
When the quote is converted to a booking:
Follow your standard Convert to Booking steps:
Select contact
Choose quote variation
Assign salesperson
Confirm payment details
After conversion, scroll to the Commission Section of the booking.
You’ll see that the commission has been carried over automatically.
No manual re-entry is needed.
A trip is quoted for a school heading to Six Flags.
A sales affiliate (Alisa) helped secure the deal.
You assign her a $100 commission directly on the quote.
Upon conversion, that commission flows into the final booking without any extra effort.
Always assign commissions before converting a quote to avoid extra steps.
Use consistent naming or tagging conventions for commission contacts.
Keep flat-rate agreements documented to reduce discrepancies.
