This module explains how to configure ticket types in TBN’s TourDriver module. Ticket types allow you to offer different pricing and labeling for categories like adults, children, or seniors—giving you flexibility in how you structure ticket sales.
Ticket types help you differentiate between the various kinds of tickets a customer can purchase for a tour.
Examples:
Adult Ticket
Child Ticket
Senior Ticket
Group Pass
Youth (Ages 6–12)
These types appear on your public portal, allowing customers to choose the appropriate option when booking.
Navigate to the TourDriver module
Click on Ticket Types under the Tour setup section
This opens the main Ticket Types dashboard where you can view, edit, or create new ticket categories.
Click Add Ticket Type
Enter the following:
Name of the ticket (e.g., “Youth Ticket”)
Description (e.g., “Valid for ages 6–12”)
These details will appear on your customer-facing ticket purchase page.
Click Save
Once saved, this ticket type becomes available to apply to any of your tour itineraries.
Once ticket types are created:
You can assign them to specific tours during itinerary setup
Each type can have its own pricing and availability limits
This gives you the flexibility to:
Offer discounts for certain groups
Set age-based eligibility
Run promotions with specific ticket categories
Use clear, customer-friendly names (e.g., “Adult (13+)” vs. just “Adult”)
Keep descriptions short and focused on eligibility criteria
Test ticket type visibility in your public portal before launch
Regularly review ticket types to ensure they align with current pricing strategy
