Deleting or Changing Calendar Markup Events

Deleting or Changing Calendar Markup Events

Deleting or changing calendar markup events

Overview

This module explains how to modify or delete markup events in the Pricing Calendar within OpsDriver. These adjustments help you keep your pricing aligned with real-time changes in demand, availability, or strategy.

1. Editing Existing Markup Events

You can update the pricing logic on specific dates by assigning a different Pricing Calendar Template to the markup event.

Steps:

  1. Open the Pricing Calendar

  2. Use the select tool to highlight the markup events you want to update

  3. Click Edit Selected Events

  4. Choose the new Pricing Template you want to apply

  5. Confirm when prompted

  6. Click OK

This updates all selected dates with the new pricing configuration.

2. Deleting Markup Events in a Date Range

To remove pricing adjustments across a stretch of time—such as clearing out seasonal markups or resetting a previous strategy:

Steps:

  1. Click Delete Markup Events

  2. Select Date Range

  3. Choose the start and end dates

  4. Confirm your action

  5. Click OK

All markup events between the selected dates will be removed.

3. Deleting Specific Markup Events

For more targeted changes, you can delete individual days without affecting others.

Steps:

  1. Use the checkboxes to select one or more specific calendar days

  2. Click Delete Selected Events

  3. Confirm the action

  4. Click OK

This is ideal when you only need to make small adjustments—such as removing a markup applied in error.

4. When to Use Each Option

  • Use Edit Selected Events when you need to reclassify days with new pricing logic (for example, switching a weekday to a weekend rate).

  • Use Delete by Date Range when clearing out a block of outdated markups, such as removing summer pricing after the season ends.

  • Use Delete Selected Events when making precise corrections to one or a few calendar days.

Best Practices

  • Review your selections carefully before confirming deletions or edits.

  • Use templates to apply consistent pricing structures across date ranges.

  • Avoid mass deletions close to high-volume travel dates to prevent disruptions.
