This module explains the General Account Settings section of OpsDriver. These settings define how pricing, trip timing, customer interactions, and quote expirations are handled throughout the system.
Price per Mile
Hourly Rate
Daily Rate
Cost Plus
These settings correspond to the pricing equations used in TBN. Your onboarding team will help you determine which to enable based on your pricing model. You can toggle them at any time to clean up your pricing view or switch strategies.
Show Prices:
When unchecked, customers will not see prices in the booking widget.
Instead, they’ll receive a message confirming that their request was received and someone will follow up.
Show “Tell Us More” Box:
Allows customers to add trip context during checkout, improving sales team follow-up and pricing accuracy.
Prices can be rounded:
Not at all
Up to the nearest $1, $5, $10, $25, or $100
Most common: Round to the nearest $5
This controls how cleanly final pricing numbers appear to customers.
This setting adds a percentage buffer to the Google Maps estimated drive time to account for:
Traffic
Bus-specific travel delays
Local operating conditions
This affects time-based pricing and estimated travel time shown to the customer.
Controls how short a stop can be when customers build itineraries in the booking widget.
Common defaults: 5, 10, or 15 minutes
Helps avoid unrealistic expectations (e.g., 1-minute photo stops) when customers plan trips.
Define a default expiration window (e.g., 30 days)
Applied at the time a quote is created
Can be manually extended later per customer needs
These internal-only fields help define what time gets billed and how pricing is calculated. Not visible to customers.
Spot Time:
Time between bus arrival and first pickup.
Unloading Time:
Time between final drop-off and return to dispatch.
Minimum Pre-Trip/Post-Trip Time:
Sets a floor on how little time can be scheduled around dispatching and returning.
Additional Pre-Trip/Post-Trip Time:
Adds extra time for driver prep, fueling, inspections, etc., beyond standard load/unload windows.
These values are used for billing and scheduling, but not shown to customers.
Enable only the pricing methods your team actively uses
Hide pricing during temporary pricing overhauls or rate reviews
Use minimum and additional times to properly account for non-driving work in your billing model
