This module explains how to invite drivers to the Driver Portal in OpsDriver, set their login credentials, and provide access to view, accept, and manage trip assignments.
The Driver Portal allows drivers to:
View upcoming trips
Accept or decline assignments
See pickup/drop-off info
Print work tickets (if needed)
Each company has a unique portal URL where drivers log in using their email and password.
Go to Company Setup > Drivers.
Click on an existing driver or create a new one.
Ensure the following fields are completed:
First Name
Last Name
Email Address
These three fields are required for portal access.
If the driver has never been set up:
Click Create Password
If the driver has an account already:
Click Update Password
Choose a secure temporary password
Share the login credentials with the driver manually
They can later change their password from the portal
Each company has a unique Driver Portal URL (e.g., sample.tbnportal.com/driver).
Visit the portal link
Enter the email address and password
Click Sign In
A calendar view of assigned trips
Yellow blocks indicate trips that are assigned but not yet accepted
Clicking a block shows:
Trip name and date
Pickup and drop-off times
Vehicle type
Accept/Decline button
Once accepted, the trip updates in real time for dispatch and ops visibility.
Assign portal access as part of the new driver onboarding process
Confirm drivers know how to accept trips and view assignments
Regularly verify driver email addresses are accurate
