This module explains how to use Pricing Calendar Templates in OpsDriver to streamline and automate the creation of pricing events. Templates allow you to consistently apply markups or pricing logic across different days, vehicle types, and seasons.
Go to the Sales header
Click Pricing Calendar
Select the Templates tab
Here you’ll see a list of existing templates and can create new ones to manage pricing strategy across time.
Templates allow you to:
Create repeatable pricing patterns
Group vehicles for seasonal or demand-based adjustments
Apply changes across multiple dates quickly
These are especially useful for:
Peak and off-peak periods
Recurring events or service types
Quickly updating availability or pricing as demand changes
You have three ways to apply a pricing template to the calendar:
Click “Add to Single Markup Event”
Choose a specific date
Click “Create Markup Event”
This applies your template to just one calendar day.
Click “Add to Date Range”
Choose a start and end date (e.g., June 1–June 30)
Select the days of the week you want the template to apply to (e.g., Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays)
Click Create Markup Event
Confirm the number of markup events to be created
This is ideal for setting weekday or weekend pricing patterns across a month or season.
Click “Add to Specific Dates”
Manually select calendar dates to apply the event
Click Create Markup Events
Confirm the number of events and click Yes
Great for targeting holidays, special events, or known busy days.
Once your template events are applied:
You can click into individual calendar events to:
Adjust pricing
Set limited availability
Mark a vehicle type as sold out
This makes it fast and flexible to adapt to real-time fleet availability or market changes.
Use templates for consistent pricing patterns across seasons or service types
Pre-load your calendar at the start of each quarter or school year
Combine with vehicle visibility settings (e.g., sold out/limited) for demand management
Keep template names clear and organized by use-case (e.g., “Peak Weekday – School Bus”)
